At Williams Engineering I focused on operational clarity across a complex, multi-team environment — and a data foundation solid enough to support real business decisions.
What I delivered:
- Mapped current and future-state workflows (As-Is/To-Be) across the organization — translating complex day-to-day operations into documented, requirements-driven solutions teams could actually act on.
- Audited and reconciled vendor accounts — delivering clean data and recommendations that supported cost-benefit analysis and business case development.
- Provided hands-on support through urgent operational issues — full service restoration, zero data loss.
The outcome: Documented processes, clean data, and a clear picture of where the organization was versus where it needed to be.
A Provincial Chamber-of-Commerce Association (Business Systems / Operations Analyst · 2026)
This association presented a different kind of complexity — a member-based organization with a large stack of active systems and a mandate to evaluate AI readiness across all of them.
What I delivered:
- Led a full technology, workflow, and data gap analysis across the organization’s systems — mapping what existed, identifying what was missing, and prioritizing AI use cases by value, impact, and feasibility.
- Delivered a complete Process Library and 10+ SOPs — giving the organization documented, repeatable processes for the first time across key operational areas.
- Designed and launched a centralized knowledge hub in SharePoint — a centralized, searchable resource for cross-team documentation, training materials, and ongoing knowledge sharing.
- Performed a full AI Readiness & Compliance Audit — delivering an executive report and roadmap that reduced technology risk and informed tool evaluation decisions.
The outcome: A national organization that moved from reactive, fragmented operations to a documented, auditable, AI-ready foundation — in under 3 months.
What This Kind of Engagement Actually Involves
Process work looks simple from the outside. In practice it requires:
Discovery before diagnosis — understanding how work actually flows before recommending how it should flow. This means interviews, observation, and system audits — not assumptions.
Translating complexity into clarity — As-Is/To-Be mapping is only useful if the people who need to act on it can read it. Plain language, visual formats, and structured documentation matter as much as the analysis itself.
Data integrity as a foundation — recommendations built on dirty data are worse than no recommendations. Reconciliation and validation come before insight.
Building assets that outlast the engagement — process libraries, knowledge hubs, and SOPs aren’t deliverables for the sake of deliverables. They’re what ensures the work sticks after the consultant leaves.

Operational clarity isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the foundation everything else sits on — AI adoption, team scaling, cost reduction, strategic planning. None of it works reliably on a base of undocumented processes and disconnected systems.
