Building in Public — From Idea to Shipped Product
4 apps in development · 1 fully live · Built evenings and weekends alongside a full-time role · End-to-end: concept, architecture, build, deploy
The Business Problem
There’s a version of “I’m building an app” that means: I have a Figma file and a domain name.
This isn’t that.
Building software products — real ones, with auth flows, payment systems, database architecture, security hardening, and actual users — requires a different kind of thinking than consulting work. It requires you to be the client, the analyst, the architect, and the developer simultaneously. Every decision has a cost. Every shortcut has a consequence. And unlike consulting engagements, there’s no one else to escalate to.
I build because it makes me a better consultant. You can’t advise organizations on systems you’ve never had to live inside yourself.
What’s Live
ShareVibes — A skill-trading platform where people exchange expertise instead of money
Everyone has something they can teach. Everyone has something they want to learn. ShareVibes connects them — without cash changing hands.
Members list what they can offer, browse what others provide, and book sessions using credits. One hour of your skill for one hour of someone else’s. Simple concept. Significant infrastructure underneath.

What’s In Development
Career Flow
A job search and application management app — bringing structure and clarity to one of the most chaotic processes people navigate. Tracking applications, deadlines, follow-ups, and outcomes in one place, with data that actually helps you make better decisions about where to focus.

What Building Teaches You That Consulting Doesn’t
Shipping forces prioritization — when you’re the only person building, you learn fast what actually matters versus what’s nice to have. That instinct transfers directly to backlog grooming and requirements work.
Real constraints sharpen thinking — working evenings and weekends with no dedicated team means every architectural decision has to be right the first time. There’s no sprint to fix it later.
Security isn’t optional — building with RLS policies, row-level permissions, and regular security scans from day one isn’t a best practice when it’s your own product. It’s survival. That mindset carries into every AI governance and systems engagement.
Users are unforgiving — a consulting deliverable can be refined after the meeting. A shipped product either works or it doesn’t. Building keeps me honest about what “done” actually means.
The Business Takeaway
I’m not a consultant who talks about building. I’m a consultant who builds — and brings that experience back into every systems, AI, and process engagement I take on.
The apps are proof of range. The thinking behind them is what I bring to your organization.
